Historic Dubai Grand Prix Revival powered by Gulf Historic extended to three days in 2022

While the celebration of historic motorsport and motoring has lived up to its promise at the Dubai Autodrome, the dates for the 2022 edition of the Historic Dubai Grand Prix Revival powered by Gulf Historic have now been revealed. The event will be held over three days instead of two, from Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 November 2022.

Pierre-Brice Mena, Managing Director of GP Extreme: “We are very pleased to announce that the Historic Dubai Grand Prix Revival by Gulf Historic will take place again next year after the success of the first event. We could feel the local enthusiasm for these historic cars that bring something new to the motorsport landscape in the Middle East. Developing this event was our goal from the beginning, hence the idea of setting a date for the end of November 2022. And why not expand the concept in future years. »

Faisal Al Sahlawi, Managing Director of Dubai Autodrome : « I am very happy to be part of this event, for me it was a dream to bring back the Dubai Grand Prix that happened in 1981. It is the best combinaison of celebrating the UAE’s 50th anniversary and the heritage of Motorsport. We love to race in this region, we love speed so this is celebrating speed. The Dubai Autodrome and GP Extreme put on a great event. Next year will definitely be bigger. »
